 Backing up is a major part of any modern company's disaster recovery plans, yet is it often overlooked or poorly implemented.The use of CD's and DVD's is time consuming, and the resulting media is well known for being easily damaged. USB memory sticks are a better alternative, but again are time consuming and rely on manual intervention. Wired4Work offers a fully automated and remote backup solution for Windows, Mac and Linux PC/Server's. Our preferred offering is a two tier solution where all your workstation PC's are backed up every night to a on-site Linux based Server. The Server itself is then replicated to our remote site during the early hours of the morning every day of the week. Regular use of the two tiered system will provide snapshots of your data every day for a week, weekly for a month, monthly for six months and finally annually; thus allowing you to back track to many versions of any file!  Typically backups consist of 1GB upwards with most of our customers backing up around 50GB. Due to the incredibly efficient software used even 50GB backups only take on average 50 minutes to transfer to our remote servers - this is because only the changes within files are transmitted.We also offer a direct/single tier backup option where an application is installed onto your machine (Mac, PC or Linux) and your files are backed up directly to our servers. This service costs £5 per GB per month, reducing to £3 per GB per month where you have in excess of 10GB of data to backup. Please contact us for details.
